It's becoming increasingly obvious that most Dems didn't take the fascism fear-mongering seriously. They only say it to win elections, not because they actually believe it.

Opinion polls are just a convenient excuse that are used selectively to weasel out of not doing difficult things. (Unless people hate their policy, then they don't matter.)

M.T.G. is just on a personal revenge tour against Trump due to not getting his blessing to run for Senate. That's all that's happening here. She did not have some sort of awakening.

Here’s the secret. People are always making good music. The music will always be good. Don’t let your hang ups over getting older or feeling cringe for enjoying youth culture get in the way. Music is a joy you shouldn’t miss out on for arbitrary reasons.

Sherrod Brown is genuinely beloved by progressives in Ohio. That's the main difference.
He's not a milquetoast Democrat, he was consistently one of the most forward-thinking non-Bernie senators, and an exceptional messenger.
He's very close to Elizabeth Warren ideologically, an economic populist.

I've given up so much of my time and energy trying to defend the Democratic Party... while the people running it continue to not give a shit and take all of the wrong lessons no matter how hard I push to make it better.

It's an outdated term. It was common 10+ years ago, but nowadays most of the people using it in that way (specifically to mean only those who medically transition,) and make a big deal about being transsexual and not transgender, tend to be transmedicalists, aka truscum.
