I only saw it last night so I’m trying to be very careful and rational with my views on it. I don’t want recency bias to artificially inflate it but I also don’t want to just kneejerk compare it unfavourably to the original.

Crafted World was a weird one for me in that it just felt like such a forgettable assembly-line ‘make a new Yoshi game’ imaginable, somehow even more than New Island
Also that fucking toy recorder sound font made me wish I was deaf

Yeah, you’ll struggle to find someone with a bad thing to say about Woolly World.
I’m kinder than most to Yoshi’s New Island (3DS) but it’s still not as good as the original or WW.
I… struggle to even consider Story, really.

Yep, thinking about it. It’s very leading by only stating the value of the ring she refused and not the one she wanted.

That’s a fair point. Either he couldn’t afford the one she wanted or wanted to just cheap out (if he could afford it).
