I had the same thoughts at first but the significant decrease in native apps on iOS in favor of cross platform ones might seem like a threat to app quality on iOS in apples eyes, cross platform has improved a lot in recent years but native is always superior, one can hope.

My hopes are high for seeing Xcode and SwiftUI going open source
