I mean, yes - you're point is solid. But also there are also examples of magical thinking therein:

Interesting. My work (gmail hosted) email account does respect the full stops. I dropped it, sent an email to myself and it bounced. My personal / professional gmail account doesn't give a stuff. So there's a policy there they've switched off for the plebs but allow enterprise users to switch on.

Ugh EMPLOYERS LITERALLY AREADY HAVE TO DO THIS BY LAW, LAURA.

KIER: YOU SHOULD HAVE SAID IT'S ILLEGAL NOT TO AND YOU'LL MAKE SURE IT'S ENFORCED, NOT BLEAT ON AND REINFORCE THAT IT'S A BIGGER ISSUE THAN IT IS.

(AND yes deliveroo, etc. But this is a proper clusterf* )

Mmm, neutral.

Literally pitching the prime minister as somehow standing in the way of Farage's rightful premiership.

I think you're wildly extrapolating the point of this particular thread's OP. Which is, it's a bit soon after a big win to go back to a strike. It risks pi$$ing off the public in a period where gains are being made.

But the tax burden is relatively low when compared internationally. I dislike the 'highest tax burden ever' argument. It implies that tech, standards & the complexity of society have been frozen since the middle of last century. Spoiler: they haven't been. Most other countries have more local taxes.

I am starting to doubt their ability to pull the green/lib vote back. You could formulate a 'tough on immigration' line by defining the issue better whilst also being more progressive. They're swinging far too consistently @ Reform and not convincing. I mean just look at this headline:

Sorry for spamming but that thread is a gold mine of people not getting it and being very proud. For instance this person who seems unaware we have plenty of cold lager on tap available, if that's what you want. But if you chill a lot of real ales too much it kills the flavour profile:

Not a shred of self awareness or reflection.

For instance, this person seemingly unaware they're eating food in Britain probably prepared by a brit, when they're in Britain.

"We used to have views behind us of trees and fields, but now... it looks like a stormy day "
"We were semi-rural but now we are at the edge of an industrial estate."
Oh these guys must have been in the middle of nowhere, pristine countryside, how upsetting!

*looks at googlemaps*

Oh. Nevermind.

I mean. We just need to generally be taxed more.

In their last flurry of posts on the 3rd of Jan - the first is apologising for lack of updates and stating they've had to use a VPN to do anything. This, I am sure is totally cool with the regime.

I was all set to reply 'Hang on - they're a party in the UK parliament so it'll just be because of that, surely?' but, er...
