WHOA. I know everyone’s freaking out about all the new pastel Platinum 3776 limited editions being announced right now, but THIS one just grabbed me by the throat. 🤩 I’m obsessed with these transparent jewel tones!

The pen has a very sparkly transparent sapphire blue barrel, a transparent emerald green cap, and transparent turquoise section and finials. The rhodium-plated 14k nib has seven stars engraved on it along with the store name.

Time for fall ink colors!! 🥳🍂🍁 and being unable to write in a straight line, as always

THAT SHEEN on the Platinum special ink, though!! 🤩 Still deciding if this palette needs something more added.

Okay FINALLY I can compare these three! LTR: Platinum x Hi-Note Kusatsu Onsen; Platinum x Nonble Peppermint Tea; Platinum x Nagasawa Hassho Cider.

Is it unnecessary and perhaps ridiculous to have three pens that are so similar? Yeah. Am I sorry? Lmao no.
Three Platinum 3776 Century fountain pens, all of which are Japanese stationery shop collaborations, in shades of aqua, mint, and pale blue. They’re extremely similar in appearance, though one lacks glitter and is more translucent than the others, and one of the glittery pens has silver trim rather than gold.

Wanted to test out stamp embossing as ink resist to make DIY swatch cards, and it works great but I forgot about the paper curling effect 😅 I need to get some heavy watercolor paper or something

The stamp was embossed in dark blue, and then the paper was brushed with fountain pen ink in shades of light blue and beige. The paper curled and wrinkled quite a bit from the water in the ink and has now dried that way.

Pretty sure I accidentally adopted a gremlin instead of a chihuahua all those years ago.
