Dosbarth Miss Burgis have travelled back in time today! ⚔️🛶 Our young Vikings spent the day trading artefacts, making music and immersing themselves in life from the past. Incredible creativity, teamwork and enthusiasm all round – what a raid-iculously good day!

Safer Internet Day this year focuses on promoting the safe and responsible use of AI. Some pupils in 2/3CJ completed posters on Adobe Express to share this message across the school. Da iawn pawb!

To celebrate our last Forest School session for a while, Reception enjoyed their first campfire. We sang songs and had hot chocolate round the campfire. 🔥 ☕️ Afterwards, we used the cooled charcoal to draw with!

Dosbarth Miss Rourke stepped back in time to a Tudor kitchen today! 👑🔥 We cooked spiced apple buns and pottage like real Tudor children. Lots of learning, lots of smells, and lots of fun! 🥖🍲

Reception were very excited to welcome a very special and tiny visitor this afternoon! They had lots of questions to ask about babies. Huge thanks to Dr Samantha Harris for bringing in her gorgeous baby (who was incredibly well behaved) and for answering all the questions! We learnt lots! Diolch!

Great fun in Dosbarth Mrs Jeffreys today using the springboard.. 😍 they have really enjoyed trying to sprint, jump from two feet and work towards a tuck jump and safe landing.

Reception showed great persistence and resilience when they were challenged to learn a new skill: whittle a stick with a peeler! It wasn’t easy, but they persevered and did really well. Then they helped each other make a mini hurdle fence, using their pattern skills to weave sticks in and out. 🤩
