My initial impression of Gemini 3 was so positive that I made it my daily driver instead of Sonnet 4.5. The CLI is very unpolished though, and it takes a lot of instructions to stop it from being a vibe coder. Unhindered it really went to town editing things I didn't ask for. "Google is back"

The way I remember is that we called them "three n half" (in Swedish) while real floppies where around, but later they absolutely became floppies. Saying 3.5 is to much effort.

On the other hand I commend the judgment to not go through the roof considering the unconventional engineering methods on display.

I think you are spot on and deserve your achievement. Claude Code in my case, is a tool that helps me bridge the gap between intuition and code. It helps me "clarify my intent" one could say. Actual code generation is a possible side effect but not the primary purpose.

I agree and for the record, it cannot even keep the time right on my machine. Whatever I do it insists on showing CET instead of Swedish local time. Windows is just a dumpster fire in Copilot clothing now.

You are more or less describing exactly my process and problem. Now there is such a low barrier to get started. To hit /resume and have someone to discuss the project with is a blessing. Stochastic parrot? Sure, but it emulates intelligence in a way that helps me think.

As a professional Swede my solution for living in a cold climate is not adaption but a warm house and warm clothes. Less fat = more sensitive to cold is my final answer. If you decide to suffer the cold, I can imagine some brown fat adaption might happen, not my area of expertise :)

I have a 200W industrial led aimed at the ceiling when I am working. That gives me energy and helps with the circadian rhythm. My other strategy is moving to Cebu during the winter. When life and work permits.

EU exports 605 billion, US exports 370 billion. EU companies also having free trade deals with 70 countries as alternatives to US products. This idiocy is still a net loss for EU, but a far smaller one. The trade deficit by definition means that EU already will invest in USA. Yuge deal.
