You need knowledge, specialization. If the knowledge to do all the work you are replacing with AI isn't there the result will commonly be slop.
So yeah, AI can get better at making things, but it won't solve the puzzle, that applies from art to game development and beyond

If you cannot put together a competent team, cannot give them a direction and can't afford paying their services, as it is expected from any job, that's the project's manager problem, not theirs.
