i washed it with the lowest delicate spin cycle and it came out fine, but it took some days to fully dry 😅

IT IS, maybe 5kg?? it's queen sized so it's huge skjdffdkg

yeah i'm sure that if i told my grandmother that this could sell for a couple hundreds nowadays then she'd have kept it from me to sell it and keep the money for herself 😒 nope i'm keeping it and using it as intended and cherish it

my great aunt did a lot of crochet stuff and sold it at street markets for a couple of bucks for her church, i also got some slippers from her when i was a kid 😆

i never had a close relationship with my great aunt tbh, and she's too senile already to have a chat with her, but i know she'll be grateful that someone in the family appreciates her work

my grandmother who has the empathy of a stone told her that if her son didn't want it she'll keep it 🙄 and then proceeded to throw it on the bottom of a closet for +20 years until we found it some years ago when she was dumping some old bedsheets on me and told me its history
