Crawlers are four-legged pests that leap at you from a distance and bite when close enough. They're generally very slow and easy to defeat, but almost always attack in groups.

The Pteranodon is another monster in my game From The Heavens. It is a creature that evolved from another enemy, the Maneater. Rather than running towards their target and biting, they crawl slowly and spit out balls of acid that explode on contact.

I haven't talked much about my game project "From The Heavens." It's a 2D top-down shooter, and I designed a bunch of monsters for it.

Here's four of my concepts! I updated the logo inbetween, so the one in the first two is the most recent.

The Condor is a sniper, wielding a lightning-infused bow to attack targets. It is unique in that, unlike most enemies who can only see and attack the player if they are on the screen, it can see and attack you no matter how far away you are, even offscreen. The Oculus moves slowly, but has a line-of-sight attack where it stares at you and deals damage while slowing your movement. You'll have to either stun it or hide from it before the attack comes out. The Prophet is a summoner, using its gold staff to summon Maneaters (next image) to attack its target. The other red staff is used to fire energy blasts if you get too close. The Maneater is a simple but deadly predator, chasing after you and biting. At low health, it will enter a berserk state where its speed is doubled.
