4 fundamentals....family, change, choice and integrity. Then YNWA, Education, Mental Health and inevitably politics. Magic - my football nickname - centre forward hence 9.
Well if you buy a £3m house you save £400k. A first time buyer with a house below £300k saves nothing.

So if you can’t counter the argument then just abuse people. Is that it?

Nothing whatsoever to do with her being a woman. Everything to do with self importance. I’ve called out men, women, old, middle aged, blind whatever on this. What are we discussing now? Atrocities in Gaza or self absorbed people promoting PA rather than having an entire focus on Palestinians?

Such a reliable source of information. Suspect the FO have learned a lot from Boris Johnson’s big mouth impact on Nazanin Zaghari-Ratcliffe in Iran. It’s not something you do in public with a running commentary and silly to think otherwise.

I’m sure she has lots of friends telling her how brave and right on she is being.
October 6, 2025 at 9:18 AM
No I don’t. How dare you suggest otherwise.
October 6, 2025 at 9:16 AM
There is a reasonable case for proscribing PA. Protesting against a law as a higher priority than what is going on in Gaza is self indulgent. Some people have time and money to do this kind of thing. I doubt she works in Tesco. Yvette Cooper brought in this law and I fully support her for it.

Yes that’s what I think of her too 👍

Someone who seems to think promoting Palestine Action is a more important focus than supporting Palestine.

Good choices and bad choices. Choices for the greater good or for self promotion. Yes choice. 👍

Well Sky would stoke that up wouldn’t they. Here’s the top European data breaches going back over 10 years. Nothing in this about ID card data.

Not at all. Just don’t buy the false equivalence in the original post. That doesn’t mean I don’t support and respect what Thunberg is trying to do. Nothing else in it for me. And whoever made that accusation against you is a nutter I would be happy to block so do share.
October 6, 2025 at 9:01 AM
Oh bully for her. Middle class self important wannabe martyr. This kind of thing is shameful as it’s just using a genocide to generate self publicity.

Look at the wider picture, the platform in of Farage, the undermining of non-reporting of anything Labour does. There is a wider extensive pattern.

The BBC is stacked with Tory appointees. The bias is deliberate in my view.

There are differences. How long was Mandela in prison? How many times did he decline the terms of his release? She’s doing an important thing but it’s not even the same planet of sacrifice. But if that’s how you feel then fine.
October 5, 2025 at 8:00 PM
That’s the same as what I am saying. But also that there is no equivalence because the original post suggested there was.

The stats are over a year old and the numbers are tiny. It’s not a current story relevant to what is happening now nor are the numbers involved material.

How have they not worked in Europe? Been there for decades without fuss or loss of human rights or privacy. You are of course very welcome to your views, although I think Good Law Project should know better. They should be more than a protest against everything group.
October 5, 2025 at 6:03 PM
She hasn’t compared herself to Mandela. The original post did.Mandela I am sure would have every sympathy and support for Palestine and understand what the flotilla was all about. It doesn’t mean there is equivalence with his struggle though.

Yes indeed we have budding fascists here in the UK too. Difference is we won’t give them the time of day in an election. The corruption and lies will be too easy to expose.
October 5, 2025 at 5:53 PM
I get the sentiment entirely. The Israeli government need to be in The Hague for a whole lot of reasons. This is outrageous with Thunberg if true though she should not be compared to Mandela. Nowhere near the same. I hope there are further consequences for Israel with much harder sanctions.
