Oh. He’s going to use the “stolen” 2020 election as the basis of his claim that he’s owed a third term to make up for it. Just wait.

Can I say we need to “take care of him” without getting in trouble?

Here’s a photo of me using the stationary recumbent bike my daughter gave me while wearing the aloha shirt that belonged to her grandmother (my late MIL), whose birthday was on April 17. For lunch, my SIL came over and we had burgers (MIL’s favorite) to honor the occasion.

It’s been a good day. ❤️

Is the Supreme Court really going to allow our democracy to crumble over semantics? Why hasn’t a response to this “interpretation” been issued and the DOJ *ordered* to request the release of Kilmar Abrego Garcia? 🦗🦗🦗

The past weeks have felt like the early days of the pandemic to me, punctuated by fear and anxiety over a scourge on a mission to destroy us all. My reaction has been to hunker down and make ready the best I can without knowing exactly what’s to come — just that it will be bad and unpredictable.

When it’s fully charged, the display on the knee heater/massager that my daughter gave me for Christmas will never cease to amuse me. 🤭

Today being the first day of spring, naturally it is cold, raining and gloomy here. 😒

BUT, that means it was a perfect day for grilled cheese sandwiches and tomato soup for lunch. 😋

It still boggles my mind that he’s labeling the protests (and yeah, occasional vandalism) of Tesla dealerships as “domestic terrorism” after calling the J6 insurrection “a day of love” and pardoning even its most violent traitors. Truly dystopian stuff. 🤯

Somebody needs to stop me from eating all of this scrumptious Irish soda bread I made this afternoon. 😋

Feel free to sing along to, oh y’know, whatever tune comes to mind... 😙

🎶 I’m ashamed to be an American, which I never thought I’d say
And I won’t forgive the hateful gang that made me feel this way
What’s happened to our once great land? My apologies to the world ⤵️

I had an orthopedic visit yesterday for my knees, which have been causing me pain off and on for about a year and a half. The news was a mixed bag.

After looking at new x-rays, the nurse practitioner said my arthritis is severe in the right knee and moderate in the left.

Although our PNW weather is milder than what many people are experiencing, this winter has been brutal on my skin. After trying a few different things, I landed on a routine that seems to be working: Olay Super Serum body wash for extra dry skin in the shower, (1/2)

Of course it wasn’t a N@zi salute! He was doing the Musk salute, a movement entirely of his own design — much the same as his “invention” of Tesla. The fact that it looks similar (identical) to salutes given by Il Duce and the Führer is purely coincidental. Purely.

Despite the setback, I still look forward to this day…

Another tasty, easy meal using Beyond steak tips. I fried the steak tips until crispy, added bell peppers & onions, sautéed until tender, stirred in some barbecue sauce, and served it with homemade vegan macaroni & cheese, roasted Brussels sprouts and rolls. Delish!

My daughter’s dog, Sookie, is very skittish about being touched — but she loves to show her affection by giving kisses. I’ve pointed out to her on numerous occasions that this isn’t fair, because dog kisses make ME skittish. Nevertheless, I allow them from her.
