"Color is too real. It’s limiting. It doesn’t allow too much of a dream. Black has depth. You can go into it. The mind kicks in, a lot of things become manifest. And you start seeing what you’re afraid of. You start seeing what you love, and it becomes like a dream."

Daily reminder -- humans are just one species out of of EIGHT MILLION!
To truly share this planet requires a shift in how we think, act, and connect across species.

This #WorldConservationDay, we're reflecting on this responsibility, which is at the core of our mission, and reinforced by the perspective Christiana brings as the newest member of our board.

a great read for all the Hong lovers out there. hoping his new one plays at #NYFF this fall!!! 🙏
For me, watching Hong’s repeated tales most resembles the vagaries of retrospection. Thinking back on a drunken night, sometimes you remember the good; other times, more often, the bad. You wonder what you should have said or done differently.

The idea of orcas/killer whales trimming down bull kelp stalks to the right length and then pushing the piece of stem against a partner and rolling it between their bodies is just extraordinary. 🦑🧪
