Took me a minute. But the gif is taken from season 1 episode 13 "Fry and the Slurm Factory" Usually whenever I remember to click on that button in the corner it'll auto generate an alt text description. I don't know why it didn't do that this time

The book was actually a fictionalized version inspired by the real story of what really happened on that arctic voyage. I read the book after seeing the show back when it first aired on AMC. Also the author based the Tuunbaq on the real mythological monster, Tupilaq
