in this specific case you have someone who sexually assaulted 3 people by assuming consent through lack of signs of non-consent, only knew how to emotionally engage with others through sex, and treated their friend group as a reservoir for consensual sexual encounters

a "closed" sexual culture which is contractual and stresses enthusiastic consent before any action. these cultures are not incompatible, and really you're expected to believe in both, but they don't fit seamlessly together.

haven't been bothered to play but i watched the wr undertale speedrunner stream chapter 3 and even he doesn't have the shadow crystal but i just figured out how to get it and /that's insane/
