So Spotify removed my most political podcast episode, The Sacrifice, due to “possible infringement” of a book that was published a year after my episode released and is completely unrelated aside from sharing a title. Apparently I have a Time Machine and did a future plagiarism of a 2 word title!
An email from Spotify notifying the recipient that automatic review tools determined a podcast contains third party content from The Sacrifice by Shantel Tessier and removed the episode. A screenshot of a success screen that says We received your appeal on Spotify’s review website.
