Finally separated sleeves on this slow going suri alpaca sweater. I've had some books in hand while recovering from the holidays, so knitting has taken a back burner.

Deserved for AlJo. Standing by this previous feel. This was an in-person opinion on Dec 23 (aka last game of Lalonde's tenure) sent to my bestie.

Will be making the Boneyard Sweethearts DK hat by TellybeanKnits in size XS/S. Might be a touch big (though been told not to worry, "she has a big head"); at least she'll grow into it!

I get to finish a sleeve today! And start number two! I may finish for Christmas, after all!

I texted my hockey-loving bestie & with no response I thought she was busy tonight. Turns out I texted my hockey-meh husband & he's in a D&D game now. Responded 20 min later. The fact my message wasn't Red Wings red should've been real obvious I didn't text my girl. But so, so tired today. #LGRW

DK is my lightest sweater weight for a reason. This US 6 needle is about as small as I can go without being miserable in stst.
On the plus side, this ULA+LIA chocolate baby yak yarn is luxury. Makes the white cashmere/wool colorwork feel almost coarse. Can't wait to wear this beauty. #knitting

Sleeve one complete. Trying to motivate again for the second, but it would honestly be a great item to work on tomorrow while family watches whatever non-hockey game is on...

Crimmus socks on the needles while attempting to keep myself awake for the game. It's probably a losing battle (sock knitting is not my niche) and I won't have them done for the holidays, but the yarn has red and white, so it counts as team spirit, right?

Why do pets injure themselves right before big plans?
Doc has a little cyst going on between his toe beans. Cleaned up, monitoring size, keeping him from licking. Long boy will head to the vet if it's determined he's owwie or worsening. It's been almost a year since his last e-vet visit, he's due 😒

But really wish I had friendos who knit so we could stitch together. Hubs does a great job cheering me on, but he lacks the understanding to really "get it." Someday I'll be cool enough to have knitty friends...

What did I do this evening?
I somehow managed to multitask watching a lackluster but somehow winning Red Wings game, streaming Paranormal Detour on Twitch dot TV slash detune, and knit all this progress on a chunky fluffy sweater. Ready to separate for sleeves tomorrow. But tonight, I sleep.
