Turned off my phone and went to a crafty class with one of my oldest friends. (She's been putting up with me for 24 years!) We made chunky yarn pumpkins. Excellent way to spend an evening.

Ash Wednesday service is often about mourning, but I actually came away with a sense of joy. I've been mourning. It was nice to feel otherwise.
