This was an extremely difficult piece to write, with more re-writes than I think I’ve ever forced myself to do.

none of them are with ICE! there’s a core group of us that have been showing up to 26 federal plaza since may. we’re all mostly independent.

This clip on reddit is incorrect. This is not from an elementary school, it’s from 26 Federal Plaza from a month or so ago. I don’t know the exact date, I wasn’t there that day but my colleagues were there and got footage from it.
