Dollar General was sued over this same practice a few years ago. Shelf prices systematically say one thing, while register says another & they hope the customer either doesn't notice or shrugs it off to avoid the hassle of correcting it.

Are they now both-sidesing public health info? "Studies show vaccines prevent disease, but also some people believe supplements do, too, so either one is equally fine," is not the type of health guidance I want as a citizen. They are equating "educate" with "manipulate" and that's shitty.
