For DAY 313 of my year long retrospective on made for TV movies that need a DVD/Blu Ray release, I wanted to go behind the scenes of Radio City Music Hall with Legs (1983), which tells the story of three dancers (Maureen Teefy, Deborah Geffner & Shanna Reed) who long to become a Rockette

Really thrilled that the Roku knows how much I love John Newland and is now recommending his programs to me. ❤️

Tubi also suggested I watch TJ Hooker, which I did.

I'm very impressionable.

1/ The US Government has quietly removed a memorial to Black soldiers who died in World War II from the Netherlands American Cemetery in Margraten, South Limburg. The move follows a complaint from the right-wing Heritage Foundation to the American Battle Monuments Commission. ⬇️

For DAY 312 of my year long retrospective on made for TV movies that need a DVD/Blu Ray release, I chose the small screen disaster flick Skyway to Death, which is about a group of people stuck on a tram about 8,000 feet above ground... and things get hinky. Amazing cast, fun film!

Any suggestions?

Coming Dec 9 via Treasured Films! I love Werewolf Woman and was thrilled to be asked to write about the mini subgenre of supernatural rape-revenge movies. There's different WW packages with lots of extras, which you can find in their pre-order page:

Got into a semi-heated debate about which movie was the first to feature fast zombies. They said Dawn of the Dead, which... is that right? I don't think so.

I said Return of the Living Dead. Google says Nightmare City, which I'll take.

What do you think?

For DAY 301 of my year long retrospective on made for TV movies that need a DVD/Blu Ray release, I am choosing Kiss Meets the Phantom of the Park because it originally aired on this day in 1978. It's a wild one, and perfect for Halloween. This is also dedicated to Ace Frehley. We miss him. RIP

Foolish child
Shade your eyes
Blanket the sun
Came the day I am safe
You are the one,
A magic carpet ride
Dreams (and All true)
See my alabaster child roll on...
Cause I'm an earthbound boy
And so I worship you

For DAY 300 (300!) of my year long retrospective on made for TV movies that need a DVD/Blu Ray release, I chose the classic A Taste of Evil (1971). This is another is-she-or-isn't-she-crazy film by the wonderful John Llewellyn Moxey. Twisty turns and a fabulous Barbara Stanwyck. Love it

There was a time
When life was easy

My heart did soar
For what the future stored
And life,
It did please me

But it's all gone now
Gone away now
Far away

For day 299 of my year long retrospective on made for TV movies that need a DVD/Blu Ray release, I chose a cult classic. A Cold Night's Death (aka Chill Factor, 1973) is about two snowbound research scientists (Robert Culp and Eli Wallach) who find that they might not be alone. Creepy

Finishing up my powerpoint for the awesome soap opera conference I'm attending in a few days, and OMG... so excited to talk about the relationship between daytime drama and TV movies. Pretty neat that two actors speaking at the conference - Kin Shriner & Constance McCashin - are in Obsessive Love
