I always look at the source when reading something. Often following the link. Maybe this didn't reach Weiss, she was on vacation, or they only want to be Fox News lite. Or someone is going to get punished for doing journalism.

Not buying it. It's been possible to automatically sync audio and video in editing software for decades. Even consumer software. They are lying twice, first about live broadcast, and second about their editing.
