Until a month ago I hated Victor Frankenstein and now I don’t know that I do. So now I need more people to talk about Frankenstein with me.
Also, let’s marvel at 1818/1831 differences. One that blew my mind recently is that in 1818, Elizabeth is upset that she doesn’t have the opportunity to travel with Victor but in 1831 that’s taken out. What others have you spotted?

So I just watched this today and it was so fun! Now I have a whole list to watch. Has a thought though bc ofc I did. In GDT, Harlander calls Victor Prometheus twice. GDT's ends up one point short of what it should have. Did anybody else catch anything like that?

So I got some blonde extensions put in today to copy the creature and it wasn’t until my stylist said it that I noticed it’s very Frankenstein because it’s actually somebody else’s hair. I have the hair of two people on my head now. 🤎🤍🤎🤍

Reading The Last Man by MS now and already seeing a bunch of #Frankenstein parallels/nods. It opens with MS in Naples (where VF was born) in 1818 (the year Frankenstein was published.) No way that was an accident.

I love how, in the book, Frankenstein IMMEDIATELY reacts to the creature with "Oh I fucked up bad", closes the door behind him & crawls into bed

It's so relatable. Spending 6mo rushing into a stupid thing w/o considering what happens next & deciding "Perfect solution: I won't consider it at all"

So I have a thing I thought of the other day that’s either a hot take or extremely obvious. Yk how we’re all sad there’s no Henry Clerval in #Frankenstein2025? I think Heinrich Harlander takes his place. 🫣
