Well, that threw me right out of the story.. Why would an author say, "roast beefs" when they could've just as easily said, "beef roasts.." 🤦🏼♂️

As someone who lived through the Reagan drug scare, I'm SICK of the right's fake tactics. No one with access to highly profitable illegal drugs is giving them away to your ratty kids! Engage your brain for like, three seconds.. please! 🙄

I've heard people say how good N.K. Jemisin is, so I was excited to find a whole trilogy in one of the little free libraries I frequent. Started reading.. it's in present tense. I don't have many deal breakers, but that's one of them.

This week was pretty good for #thrifting #CDs. A Perfect Circle, Men At Work, Prince, Simon & Garfunkel, Johnny Cash, Ladysmith Black Mambazo, and Oingo Boingo.

Today's #thrift score. I grew up with these bowls. One of the small ones is missing, but the big salad bowl and 3 small ones is still a good deal. Oh yeah, today yellow was $2.79!

Two days ago I made a mental note to take a picture of a neighborhood tree I wanted to use for reference. Yesterday, they cut half of it down. Because of course they did. But at least I took a pic.., no I did not. 🤦🏼♂️

My first real #CrowGifts! I guess I need to up my game. I left a piece of apple instead of just boring old peanuts, and was rewarded with these two small pieces of granite. I will treasure them. 🥰

I don't know why I thought putting in grass WOULDN'T be tedious drudgery.. I was very much mistaken. I'll add depth later, but first I have to paint 12 feet of background turf.
