Prepping to carve our pumpkins tonight, and Lo and behold, no newspaper for the floor! Sometime in the last year, all those crazy, useless newspaper packs that no one ever looked at have vanished. I feel good about that (except for tonight, when I have no where to temporarily dump my pumpkin guts).
