Evertonian in Club View, Stafford Rangers and lover of real ale.
Proper Hammers legend, loved watching him play, what a proper footballer is all about.

That was the only game I left before the end as I thought Brighton had scored a 4th but found out it got disallowed.

It is a good idea in theory but who wants to lose a seat lower down rather than have a big climb of stairs,
November 30, 2025 at 12:43 PM
I know you can't force anyone to stay, I stopped to the end but this big ground looked terrible with all the empty seats, I have never been to an Everton game when the ground was so empty.
Not a good look on TV despite the performance.

Tim looked completely lost, didn't know where to position himself and was at fault for 2 of the goals, apart from that he was great😳
November 30, 2025 at 12:32 PM
The concern to me, with the possible exception of Alcaraz, there are no game changers on our bench and our Strikers are awful, so if we concede more than 2 we are never getting back in the game.
November 30, 2025 at 12:30 PM
Typical Prem, you are only as good as your last game.
It's the world we live in, many want things instantly all the time!
November 30, 2025 at 11:22 AM
That's not good in the ground, I thought the overhead cover stopped that, I am up in the gods in Club View so no chance of that, just getting used to the climb!
November 30, 2025 at 11:20 AM
Corner defending has been generally ok apart from the Newcastle and Spurs games, don't know what went wrong there.
November 30, 2025 at 11:18 AM
Agree about that, can't rely on O'Brien as although Garner worked well we need him in the middle as no Gana for a while, Striker is a big problem though, so a No 9 and RB needed in the next window.

The late kick offs in winter are going to be a test at BMD, at least it wasn't raining!
November 30, 2025 at 11:13 AM
We have a different set of fans now three fifths are STH and there seems quite a few who sell their tickets regularly and this means we are getting a demographic of fans who aren't as loyal, I can't remember Goodison so empty after 60 mins.
November 29, 2025 at 11:13 PM
He's just being realistic, he couldn't get the players he wanted and knows we are going to have to scrap through games, Beto going off the boil isn't helping matters.
November 29, 2025 at 10:44 PM
Sometimes it's good that you can play again quickly, but now we have injuries and Gueye missing, so not looking forward to that game and we have a poor record at Bournemouth.
November 29, 2025 at 10:39 PM
Regarding our Subs, only Alcaraz has quality, McNeil has gone backwards, Dibling is still trying to settle in.
Barry was rubbish, the only players who looked threatening were NDaiye and Garner, KDH obviously was our best player trying different runs and scored a good goal.
November 29, 2025 at 10:36 PM
It's going to take a while we had a massive turnover and the law of averages is not all new players settle in straight away.
November 29, 2025 at 10:32 PM
Never really played together and we did have DCL and Rooney.
November 29, 2025 at 10:30 PM
I know a lot of fans were annoyed, but it is not a good look having an empty Stadium after 60 mins, Rome wasn't built in a day.
November 29, 2025 at 10:24 PM
Get real, they have a lot more quality than us and their bench had options, we look light without Gueye, CB's need a change, O'Brien's honeymoon period at RB has ended.
November 29, 2025 at 10:21 PM
I think that is obvious Iroegbunam had a poor game, looked lost out there today, at fault for 2 goals, shame I thought he has shown more promise this season.
Squad now looking threadbare now.
November 29, 2025 at 10:16 PM
I agree, I stayed to the end like I always do, just because we got a win against a poor Man U, I think people expected we'd beat Newcastle, but they are in a false position and I fully expect them to do a Villa and shoot up the table, many have said it will be up and down while we progress as a club
November 29, 2025 at 10:14 PM
I thought we could capitalise on their away form and Euro travels, but they are in a false position and have better players comfortably.
November 29, 2025 at 8:36 PM
He was right to get praise on Monday as he kept their CB's at bay but he offered no threat, don't know what our scouting team was doing!
November 29, 2025 at 8:27 PM
Our squad was weak compared to Newcastle, only had 2 decent buys in the summer, Newcastle are way above us in quality, we can't cope when we lose our midfield player.
