Me every time I notice names from the sequels like Joseph Manderley, Reed, and Silhouette:

Also rewatched Blade recently and noticed (like many others before me) that JC must be a big fan, because he copied Blade’s outfit.

Don’t really have a favourite character yet.

JC is a likeable protagonist, though I don’t know much about his personal life yet.

I love how many people talk highly of JC’s brother Paul. He seems like a good dude… and mysterious 👀

Gunther Herrman seems fun, looking forward to seeing him again.

Story so far is good though I am still only scratching the surface.

There is a lot of lore and worldbuilding everywhere, clearly done with care.

For the state the world is in, the game has a lot of humourous lines and deliveries. The latter may be unintentionally (& I wouldn’t change you, JC).

Wish there was a pause button during dialogue.

Health goes down FAST, but fast save and reload times make up for me being stupid and reckless - even when stealthing.

Speaking of, tranquil darts really take long to knock npcs out. :’)

Controls really took me a bit to get used to it, but I feel comfortable with them now (if I don’t confuse left and right mouse button).

Graphics are not an issue at all BESIDES that it’s so dark. Especially in vents my vision is just solid black sometimes 💀

Woke up, read it again. Yeah, it’s cheesy. And I actually think 5.6k words are too short.
Can I be bothered to greatly rewrite? Nah. This is for myself.
Live and learn.
I’ll give the next fic that effort unless my beta reader gently grabs me by the shoulder and says this sucks.

Now that I think about it the ending may be too cheesy…
I’ll fret over it tomorrow.
