How to say 'I'm speaking to you like you're a blithering idiot' without saying I'm speaking to you like you're a blithering idiot.

One of two albums in my extensive music collection that I think is flawless. The other is Tom Waits' Raindogs. Neither is necessarily my favorite but man, there's not a wasted or misplaced note on either....Just my two cents

I really enjoy your work. It often brings both Ralph Steadman and Heinz Edelmann to mind. You're in very good company!

After 65 years in NYC, I now live in the Tampa / St Pete area. I think the Rays dispassionate approach is a minor part of their problems. Not enough space here for me to elaborate. That aside the same cannot be said for the Mets who have locked up their 2 best players for the rest of their careers.

I suspect there'll be no shortage of kids latching on to Baty, Vientos, and/ or one of the young arms. There's real potential there. I hope it blossoms. Players come and go. It's the nature of today's game whether we like it or not.

...and Maz absolutely should've been the MVP of that game.

I've been attending Met games since Jesse Gonder was catching Jack Fisher with Joe Christopher in the outfield. The game has, and continues to change. For better and for worse. We now root for uniforms as much as players. It's a mercenary's game and big business, but it's still beautiful. #LGM

That's certainly your prerogative, but I stand by what I said. Guys like Bonds, Clemens, A-Rod, et al were cheaters. Plain and simple. HoF talents who padded their already extraordinary stats and in doing so forever skewed records and displaced the efforts of those who preceded them. No respect.
