Since starting vyvanse, when I am at work feeling super motivated to work on music stuff, when I get home… I actually do it 😱
Now I still often get home, eat, and spend some time doing my regularly scheduled watching more videos than I should but I actually get 2-4 hours in instead of 0.

Update on ADHD meds:
Yesterday was the first time I took them at work and oh my god. What a change. I did two days worth of work in a day. My head was so clear. Small tasks weren’t daunting and i just did them instead of procrastinating somehow. I felt powerful, like I had control.

I lived in the US for almost a decade. Now that i’m back in Canada i’ve made getting my healthcare in order a priority and every time i do go to a doctor I expect for them to give me a bill on the way out but they don’t. Man free healthcare is so cool.

I like using randomization in my little jams. Turing machines and S&H kinda things.
But I also always feel like that's not really something I can call my own art, even though I spent hours on a patch that utilizes the randomization, the happy accidents and nice little tunes aren't something I made.

Video games are infinitely reproducible software.
I don’t buy AAA games. They’re often low quality shovelware that focus on graphical fidelity and nothing else. It’s insane to ask $100 for something I can’t even play until it’s been patched which can take 6 months

AAA video games should cost $100 on launch. this would still be extremely cheap for the amount of time and enjoyment you get out of them! But an audience of whiny babies has kept them literally at the same price for *two decades* despite both general inflation *and* sector-specific costs rising

There’s a romanticism in petplay that’s more focused on the actual pet part and less the sex part.
Especially when even outside of the actual roleplay aspect there’s still a lingering D/s element in the relationship.
It’s something that requires a lot of forethought and communication.

I so incredibly badly want to do some oil painting but my living situation is not conducive to that… I just don’t have an adequate amount of personal space to set something like that up.
