I have high suspicion of both (autism and borderline) due to my historical record (misdiagnosed with long term depression and anxiety). I'm with a new therapist delving further to find out whether it's a possibility.
It does make your life a living hell, especially with friends and lovers.

Do not regret your therapy, it was necessary for what you went through, you healed, you keep thriving.
Don't let those intrusive thoughts taint your mind. The world is cold, yes, but with the right people in our lives, we can make it a safe cozy place.
