I have people I can talk to about all this, but I just feel the urge like many do to just sort of throw out my thoughts in this written way. Before I know it it'll be 15 years. Then 20. 25. 30. And at some point I have to stop counting. This will be the last time I mark it.

Or rather, feels like something I'd feel scared to say for fear of the consequences a perpetrator would inflict. But I guess that's kinda... exactly what that was meant to do. Regardless, I still feel fear. I'm many years away but I still feel it. I look twice at people and vehicles.

But still, I can confidently say that I wouldn't have that reaction now. I'd feel melancholy, but better than the mess I had been. Feels weird to label the experiences I had with the "g" word that two mental health professionals attached to it. Feels like something I can't accept still.

Ten years is a long time. Which is weird, because it always kinda feels like last year. But I'm still a long way from the emotional flashback I had in my boyfriend's arms early in our relationship. Which was pretty embarassing because we were just playing Life is Strange.

Only time of year you might catch me referencing that mf game. My bf has been very kind in helping me find a place for a demon such as this in his universe. He's helping me appropriately nerf him into the manipulative morphvox sounding ahh loser he was always destined to be
