That's an extension of the path of doom for Oregon. People making over $100K pay an effective rate of 31%. Over $250K, its 41%. Moving across the river then, makes a lot of sense. In the USA, the average is 25.95%. The answer is more middle class jobs and lower taxes.

#Carpetbagger Kotek has been an insider to the race-to-the-bottom of Oregon since 2006. Massive tax increases, lower affordability, education system near the bottom. Great support two previous two governors.

I am just going by what I see online as I stopped upgrading creative suite once they went to a subs only model. My personal vector needs are limited (I get by with Designer) - my business is more focused on 3D / fx markets, though we distributed a Japanese photography software for several years.

It looks like there is still criticism of #illustrator and not just old #freehand users.

It looks great! I'd really like to see some sort of statement / comparison to, say, Affinity Designer. I think there's definitely room for more than one vector design tool on the market. When there's one or more big fish, knowing the differences can make the difference.

It looks good though if you are shooting a 'research' scene for a movie that takes place in the 80s and earlier.

I saw them on that 'first farewell tour' as well in Portland. Good show but felt a bit ripped by the fact they kept coming back.

I'll check it out. I assume you've seen Noroi: The Curse?

The licensing on the 5-in-1 server is an #OEM license, so you can deploy as many copies as you want without increasing your costs.

The question should be what if any charges the Department of Justice should bring.

It is already hitting almost all creative professions. AI will destroy many middle class professions.

So sorry to hear this. Jerry was an incredibly nice guy. I haven't seen him since well before COVID but I enjoyed various 'after parties' with him at tech events we both attended many times.
