I'll be honest: it was the best shot at working. That's just how far gone the Republicans are now. They'd rather sh**t their own mother in the head than take a single dollar away from billionaires, or help anyone esp if it means THOSE people are going to get help, if you know what I mean.

Oh gawd yes thank you! "Biden couldn't campaign any more." Exactly this. It was his energy that was flagging, and it was concerning, but he was still able to be in charge. (At least, thru 2024.) Running a campaign is a whole 'nother level of energy. And he should not have run. But NOT THE SAME!
