Your weather app is bad at predicting the weather
At some points Sunday, Apple's weather app said Keene got 2 feet of snow. Several hours later, the tally dropped to 18 inches.

Earlier this month, students and faculty attended the Vermont Energy Climate Action Network (VECAN) summit in Fairlee, VT. Dr. Westgate shared how our ATM program discusses climate change with students. He also lead a workshop on community engagement, outreach, and effective communication. 🌎🏡📊

Before Fall Break, students in Weather Analysis and Instrumentation took a field trip to the USGS Sleepers River Research Watershed to learn about hydrologic instruments, including snow tubes. They also got to see some beautiful fall foliage in the Northeast Kingdom!💧❄️🌲🍁
