And I guess it's one way to monetize/popularize your creations but if one isn't willing to got the "hot furry girl OC" route it's gonna be tough 😔 I do sell merch of my OCs but it's silly things like stickers, I doubt I'd be able to crowdfund plushies haha!

I haven't seen furry writers per se getting successful (maybe that's just not my circles). I did see furry creators selling plushies of their characters but lets face it usually there's not a lot of story behind them. Usually it's "hot furry girl" types that get popular because they're exactly that

I have the same problem!!! I have to actively monitor and maintain my weight compared to some of my friends who don't have to think about it and it's so unfair that for me it's a full time job and that has to take up a chunk of my time and energy just to be able to feel comfortable in my own body 🥲
