Black cats are the most common in shelters—but adopted less often. It’s not bad luck, it’s bad PR. Mine run the house like tiny velvet tyrants, and I wouldn’t change a thing. Adopt a house panther. You might just meet your new best friend. 🖤🐾

I read that cats who are mostly black are adopted less often than patterned cats. The speculation was that it's because they are not as photogenic. I should probably do more research, but either way, I think he is beautiful. ❤️
