The League has existed for over a century with a commitment to voter access. Restrictions on voter registration at naturalization ceremonies limit new citizens’ participation, and this lawsuit seeks to restore that important opportunity.

Last night the Supreme Court blocked a lower court ruling against the Texas gerrymandered map in order to give the full court time to consider the issue. Civil rights groups challenging the map have until Monday at 5pm to respond. We watch & remain vigilant. @lwvus.bsky.social @lwvtexas.bsky.social
