you very often cannot publicly explore these characters outside of the framework of a WoLship without someone acting like you just attacked them specifically and oftentimes some will lapse into outright homo, trans and lesbophobia when they react to the percieved attack.

people in this community get wildly intense about anything that could close off a character as a romantic or sexual option for their OC. be it headcanons of being gay or lesbian, aro and ace hcs, sex repulsion hcs, trans hcs, canonical age and even actual plot elements.

as an experiment I need them to make a conventionally attractive man with a personality most of the players will like. make him a central character in an expac and make him a trust NPC in one or two of the dungeons. then in one of the later post-patches have him mention his living and loving spouse.

because god forbid u somehow offend or upset the people shipping their male wol's with the pretty feminine girls by ur HC (that they can easily ignore) simply existing
