I have to do some alterations and repairs. It's a billion pounds. It's a million degrees inside. Visibility is damn near zero and my hands are functional useless.

It only took all day, with many ups and downs, but I managed to finally have the mind meltingly sweet box cake mix and canned frosting I wanted.

Bluesky bothers me so much because it doesn't have a tag section. So 1: it makes it very hard to use tags as tags and so most of my stuff goes untagged, which I would never do on tumblr. 2: it makes it impossible to use tags as secret bonus post script on all my posts. It ruins my comedic timing.

Cake was HORRIFIC. Happy birthday to my trash can because it is INEDIBLE. I clearly mis-measured the vanilla. And probably other things. Because that's the worst I've ever failed at baking.

Batter tasted absolutely repugnant. I don't know exactly what went wrong. I suspect multiple things. But, at the very least, there was WAY too much vanilla. And I prefer a very mild vanilla flavor to my cake, if any. I remember thinking "this seems like way too much" when I was putting it in

The problem with my Death Knight costume is that it definitely definitely takes more than one person to put it on and take it off and also really needs to have at least one handler because the hands are useless and visibility is very low. However. I have no one going with me and also a broken foot.

Toooo many stairs at my mom's house I'm sleeping on the couch. I don't think it'll hurt my foot but it is painful and the last thing I want to do is trip. The stairs are a bit steep.

Bone doctor said my foot is indeed broken, but I can put weight on it in the boot and I can take it off to sleep. She said most people feel mostly normal by 4 weeks. I'm glad to know I've been doing the right things. I assumed I was but it's good to be sure.
