As I said, I'm not sure that the comparisons are equivalent. To me it doesn't seem so because one is a title with no power (other than representing the status quo etc of course) and the other is idealogy.
But I do take your point that it does have an appearance of being counter

I'm struggling 2work out how to explain, and not familiar with the comparison to try and work out whether it's a reasonable one. The queen had no actual power (unlike trump), so it's more akin to accepting a bauble from an old lady. There is ancient symbolism but without any real difference in power
