I'll have to look at it again, but Hubert was doing it with so much eagerness and devotion that Ferdinand got off just from that alone. Hubert never even touched his dick lol. It was in this anthology.

Thank you, I'm glad you like it! And yeah, I like Edel/Hubie because they're co-dependent in such a toxic way, so seeing them starting to heal in Hopes feels extra rewarding. Their type of love really fits this song lyric nicely at times.

Hubert being very self-aware about how bad he is at comforting people did get lost in the localization a bit but it's still kind of there, though the JP version is more explicit. ---

The original JP script does arguably hint that some level of queerphobia is present but it was removed from the localization. Either way though, it doesn't get explored.

And of course, you can see the Vestra Engineers, too, when Hubert has them equipped as his battalion. My memory is foggy but I think they also pop in as messengers sometimes during the territory selection on SB. No screenshots of that sadly. (9/?)

I don't have a good screenshot of them, but there are two Vestra Engineers in chapter 10 of SB who need to be guided to the Thunder Orb on the map so they can activate it. They both have masculine voices. (8/?)

This spy can be found in chapter 5 of SB, I think? I checked, and in JP, he calls Hubert "His Excellency", too, unlike the other underlings who call him "Lord". What's interesting is that the translation left out that he shortens Hubert's name to "Hu" while combining it with the title. (6/?)
