The key to the mesh transformation will be multiple stacking shapekeys that to create that wonderful kind of... non-uniform spreading and bulging of a proper lycanthrope transformation
As for the texture transition... well, I'll post more about that when I get her out of Blender.

This is a gamble because I have to do this entire project start to finish just trusting that the vision in my head come together properly and work out when I finally finish it.

Lupe's Kenora Dinner Jacket came together pretty quickly. It turns out you don't have to worry about clipping as much if the outfit is already full of rips and holes!
Also I think Lupe might be even gayer than his sister...
