Not only that but a bunch of folks in my circle are doing great things, and I'm sure I missed more things - like shouting out the PRGDA GDC 2024 Scholars and mentioning more peeps, but feel free to share your moments or highlights of 2024, keep me in the know! Keep on rocking! ✨

Also, can I say that @d1gitalrabbit.bsky.social has been killing it like a boss? They got all the stuff with Toad Tavern (@toadtaverngame.bsky.social) + all its showcases, attending multiple local + industry events to give back, hosting workshops, and a bunch more things! 🤯

Then Platano Team published their Steam page for Dark Light, an upcoming indie game based on metroidvania's from the NES era! Keep an eye out on this one, and wishlist it to show support! 🕹️

As for fellow friends and peers, the Pichon Games (@pichongames.bsky.social) crew got to announce and release The Bunny Graveyard for the Nintendo Switch (and it has a lot of new content + polished details)! I'm super proud of them, can't wait to see what's next! 🐰🪦

And lastly, I feel like I’ve been doing more in my personal life! Started collecting vinyls (should I post about it?), trying to learn Portuguese with Duolingo, got back into Pokémon Go to walk more, attended more events, and even went to my first concert in a long time! 🤩

When it comes to community efforts, I got to give back to my alma mater by hosting a Portfolio 101 event with the Inter x PRGDA student chapter! Not only that, but I led the PRGDA GDC 2024 Scholarship! Besides those two, I'm happy about the contributions I've made! 🥰

As for the job hunt, it paid off! Not only did I land an educational gig during the summer, but it turned into a full-time role! So grateful for this job - I'm constantly learning and putting my skills to good use! Excited to keep growing professionally! 📚

A few projects that I did audio work for back in 2023 were released on Steam this year! Proud to see Mini-Tank Arena (a multiplayer third-person shooter) out there! On top of that, On-Call (a visual novel, released in 2023) was longlisted in the 2024 Yugo BAFTA Student Awards! 🎧

In late 2023, I began my portfolio overhaul, and earlier this year, I got to show off all the hard work! I got my hands dirty with HTML/CSS (plus some Javascript), and even created a new logo! It needs a few updates now, but it helped my job hunt! 💻
