My purpose in life is to be the best father and pet owner I can possibly be, treat my environment with kindness, and leave this planet better than I found it. In doing so, I stand against fascism in all its forms and fight for a better equitable system.
Choice is an illusion. Everything we purchase in this economy just enriches the same 4 or 5 people over and over again. The entire market pricing system is a collusion of 4 or 5 mega conglomerates setting the prices to give us an illusion of choice. The system is rigged politically & economically.

I remember thinking we will need a revolution to get out of this oligarchy, and everyone around me asking me “what’s oligarchy?” Then me just shaking my head in defeat wishing I could just be released from this prison society.

We still have pundits like David Brookes & Sunday morning news programs trying to tell us it’s the conspiracy theorists that are eroding democracy. They are doing everything to gas light us into getting back to status quo so we will revert back to the culture wars & never mind the wealth disparity.

Also to keep things in perspective, the Dodgers beat the Fifth largest payroll in baseball. Everyone is trying to buy a World Series. It takes large spending to get the good players that will win a World Series for your team.

Still not as magical as that Rojas Homerun in the top of the 9th which turned the Roger’s Centre into a funeral parlor. You could hear a pin drop when that HR launched off his bat.

So we should give all those Yankees titles back then huh? This World Series could’ve gone either way. It wasn’t like the Dodgers paid for Toronto to keep Kiner-Falefa tethered to 3rd in the bottom of the 9th costing them the game winning run.

My guess is that Maduro would vacate office immediately if America started dropping bombs but it sounds insane to say dropping bombs on a country in South America. Plus this is a very oil rich nation which automatically raises red flags for American imperialism. It would be best to leave it alone.

Yeah it took me almost 3 months just to get an MRI on my knee to confirm what I already told the Dr. Cocaine would have healed it right up and had me back on my snowboard in no time.

Seems like sound medicine if you ask me.

She would actually welcome US action in Venezuela given that the election was stolen from her by Maduro. I watched her on PBS yesterday & she almost seemed pleased by Trumps actions in Venezuela. Maduro won’t leave office unless there is some form of military action & his presidency is not legit.

I would also be surprised if LA didn’t have to throw in an Emmet Sheehan or Gavin Stone into the deal. Players I’d still hate to see go, but having Skubal on the rotation filled with nothing but Cy Young award contenders would ease the pain a little.

My Mets fan neighbor won’t be happy to hear that rumor.
December 11, 2025 at 4:40 PM
After talking with my Mets fan neighbor last night at the bar, I am beginning to warm up to the idea of a Skubal shakeup and as the previous poster said the deal makes sense. If we got Skubal long term then it’s not a bad idea losing Glasnow and Rushing. I’ve seen worse deals offered for Rushing.

And you’re telling me that this thing can’t hang drywall or lay bricks? Why the fuck are humans doing all the dirty work and risking our lives while we watch humanoid robots perform martial arts?
December 10, 2025 at 10:38 PM
Oof… just made my panties drop.
December 10, 2025 at 10:36 PM
McCourt was pocketing all the money and not putting anything into the team at all. He was trading away every good prospect we had just to keep the Dodgers “profitable”. Cohen seems to actively pursue the large contracts and fails to hit the mark on the right player that will elevate the Mets.

Ok Grandpa, time to get you over to X where you belong. No pop pop, this way. I know you’re old and confused but just follow me and we’ll get you home safely. Oh I know those commie terrorists are everywhere like gremlins. Yes pop pop all those Biden supporters are leftists commie terrorists.

“Fight for access to jobs” = keep us plebs working & too busy to worry about the geopolitical ramifications of unfettered capitalism & the ever growing military industrial complex. With that said, she’s running in Texas. She won’t win, & these hillbilly morons believe the fight is in the rhetoric.

Funny story; I didn’t know much about hockey or the NHL when I first watched this movie, and I thought forever that when Clark was wearing his Blackhawk’s jersey in the movie, he was repping the Portland Winterhawks who are a lower affiliate of the Blackhawks. I was like damn they know P-town.

Mean while Democratic leaders have their fingers in their ears going “Lalalalalala I can’t hear you” while continuing to enrich the owner class so that they can “maintain a strong economy” and then running on a fear campaign to vote blue no matter who because only the right has an oligarchy.

The more complicated it is the less likely we are to do anything about it. It gets complicated on purpose to keep us complacent on a system that actively pits us against each other and destroys our planet.
