I don't tend to watch award shows and such but my friends got in a call to watch the game awards and like, i had to stop watching for like half of the games because it was all gore, like why was it all gore, too much gore.

i want to write lore for a whole watch fortress of kill teams but then i run into the issue of -> i base them off the in game kill teams which are just grab all the models of that Armour type, or make actual thematic teams with variety but have them never playable.

10th edition 40k is cool and all but I want more creative interpretation of abilities like, lord Invocatus, rides his juggernaut out of his ship and a path of fire flows behind him, transports and demons charging across a sky of fire! what does this do? his unit gets deep strike.
