I was excited cuz I remember hunting a Lagombi in the demo for it way back when, but then I remember all the stuff that made me stop playing 3 Ultimate on the Wii U even earlier lol. I just wanted new mons to hunt >w<

The single continuous map (system limitation, I get it), the better lock-on, the infinite whetstone and pickaxe, giving each item its own model to pick up, the better menus (limitation again), a stamina bar that doesn't shrink NEARLY as fast, potions that only require herbs...

The people I talked to at the retro game shop I got it from both said "Peak!" and now I'm playing it and thinking, "Huh... I kinda wanna go back to World..."
