Sure, that seems like a more valid concern, in theory, although I think it tends to be overblown. I've bought hundreds if not thousands of pieces of digital media over the years and still have access to all of it, as far as I know.

I don't see this as a physical vs. digital thing, though. It's more like renting vs. buying. Subscribing to a streaming service just seems like a modern version of renting a movie from Blockbuster to me.

Autism is such a funny thing. I (probably) have (undiagnosed) autism, and I, like you, cannot stand those prompts. My son, who definitely has autism that was diagnosed by a doctor, always leaves them on. I genuinely don't think he notices them at all.

Almost! IV/II was the first FF I ever played, but I loved it so much after renting it that I convinced my parents to buy the first one. Which I also loved, if not quite as much. Weirdly I never actually buy a copy of IV on SNES, but I did rent it a lot.

It happens when they're climbing the stairs in the Shinra building. Barret whines about how many stairs there are and Tifa apparently had enough of his crap. If you only ever busted in the front door of the Shinra building, you wouldn't have ever encountered that scene.
