And tbf sometimes it is just. True. That you don’t have the time to fully engage with the material. And also uni costs a shit ton of money so like, I don’t think it’s a “failing” to just try to pass the exam. But i do feel its important that I actually get something out of it beyond a degree.

I think the cruel irony of post-secondary for a lot of people is that you only ever learn the lessons you need to succeed in university *after* you needed to use them.

Continually finding new holes in my knowledge despite doing very well academically. Feels like I’ve built so much of my engineering knowledge on a shaky foundation.

I almost never see anyone talking about the genuine improvements that the developers try to make in their games in response to the overwhelming criticisms they get because I guess they'd rather throw a fit over 1 muddy texture
