Stick them in midfield. All they have to do is run about and look busy. The ball will be flying backwards and forwards above their heads anyway.

That’s only a recent phenomenon. Look back to the 60’s and we bought the best. Even in the 80’s and 90’s we were buying some of the best. That said, I don’t believe we’ll return to that model. What is clear is that we need a better quality squad.

Whilst he got on the scoresheet, his overall play in the game yesterday was poor. Not convinced that playing for rangers is the best for his development.
