My thought exactly. There ARE enemies to lovers stories, but it's "enemyship" is always more a sexually charged vague antagonism born out of some sort of misunderstanding. Actual enemies who become lovers are very rare

Very elegantly put! The show has yet to address the problem of Lucifer AND the sinners. We've seen him gravitate around them, but not with them because he's keeping himself remote
But Lucifer's story is about the sinners, and the sinners' story is about Lucifer. He can't run outrun that forever
